Set Your Klaviyo Reply-To Address
Klaviyo uses your sender email address as the reply-to address unless you tell it otherwise. One checkbox separates the two, and it appears on every campaign and flow email.
What to paste: klaviyo@reply.yourbrand.com
Any local part works, so hello@reply.yourbrand.com is fine too. A per-platform local part makes it obvious later which replies came from Klaviyo. Your domain has to be verified in Know Reply first. See How a reply domain works.
Set it on a campaign or flow email
Section titled “Set it on a campaign or flow email”- In Klaviyo, open the campaign or flow email and go to its message overview page.
- Find the sender block with Sender email address.
- Clear the checkbox labelled Use this as your reply-to address.
- Paste
klaviyo@reply.yourbrand.cominto the reply-to field that appears. - Click Save changes, or Save content if you are inside the editor.
Set the account default
Section titled “Set the account default”- Open the account menu in the bottom-left corner and click Settings.
- Click Account.
- Edit the default sender email address and sender name, then click Save.
Klaviyo does not apply a new default to anything that already exists. Existing campaigns and flow emails keep the address they were created with. Next to the default sender email there is an Apply sender email to all messages button that pushes the change through, and it is the fastest way to avoid a flow you forgot about still sending replies to an unwatched inbox.
Campaigns and flows are the same field
Section titled “Campaigns and flows are the same field”Klaviyo has no separate transactional path. Abandoned cart, back in stock, post-purchase, and welcome flows all use the same sender block as a one-off campaign. Change the account default, apply it to all messages, then spot-check the flows you send the most.
Order confirmations sent by Shopify rather than Klaviyo are a different system. Those are covered in the Shopify Email guide.
Check it worked
Section titled “Check it worked”Send yourself a test, reply to it, and watch the address appear in your Know Reply account list. Klaviyo’s own reply-to change has no effect on deliverability, since accepting mail and sending it are separate functions.
